EU CSV Duty Audit — check any shipment file against the €3/€5 rules

Paste your CSV and instantly see: missing HS codes, weak descriptions, blank origins, bad quantities/values — and how many €3 lines you can merge to one before Nov 1 turns each duplicate into a €5 charge.

Paste your CSV hereExpected columns (order flexible): HS Code · Product Description · Origin · Quantity · Declared Value (EUR) · Ship To

How it works

1

Paste or upload your CSV

Shipment lines with HS code, description, origin, quantity, declared value — and Ship To country when you have it.

2

We run the 5 checks

R1 HS code format · R2 description quality · R3 origin · R4 qty/value · R5 same-HS6 lines merging into one declaration item.

3

See the overcharge

Every duplicate line merged = €5 saved per parcel after Nov 1. Export the issue report for your customs broker.

The rules this tool checks

R1 HS code: exactly 6 digits, no letters
R2 Description: min 4 chars, no vague words ("gift", "assorted"…)
R3 Origin: country of origin must be present
R4 Quantity & declared value: numeric, > 0
R5 Same HS6 + description + origin = ONE declaration item (€3, then €5 from Nov 1)

Duty is charged per destination country (the EU importer), not per origin column. Estimates use the EU-27 flat-rate structure — €3 per declaration line (Reg (EU) 2026/382), with a €2 Union Handling Fee per line from 1 Nov 2026 ((EU) 2026/1022).

Rate changes are scheduled — don't get caught

Nov 1: €3 → €5 per line (+67%). Jul 2028: the €3 expires, the €2 continues. We email only when the numbers actually change.
